Seasoned designer and strategist who’s driven to create human-centered experiences with a belief that great design comes from focusing on understanding people and leveraging systems.

With over a decade of experience in the design and tech industry, I've had the privilege of working across various sectors—from healthcare to commerce—with clients ranging from startups to enterprise giants like Salesforce and Google.

I thrive on collaborating with ambitious clients, tackling strategic challenges, and unleashing the transformative power of design. It's a joy to mentor designers, both at work and in my free time. I've also volunteered as a tutor for d.mba, a program dedicated to boosting designers' business confidence.

Before joining DesignMap, I was one of the first 60 designers at IBM, tasked with rekindling the company's design heritage. My background also includes a stint as a design educator and department head, where I led a team of 20 educators.

Currently, I call Alameda, California home, though I originally hail from the vibrant island of Singapore. I'm a word game enthusiast and have recently fallen in love with tennis—a pandemic hobby that surprisingly stuck.
